An adventure on two wheels in the Val di Fassa
The Val di Fassa is not only a tourist resort, but one of the world's favourite destinations for all mountain and enduro cycling, chosen several times as the venue for the Enduro World Series competitions and currently home to the Enduro World Cup (EDR).
The trails wind their way from the peaks of the Dolomites, offering breathtaking descents that uniquely combine natural and carefully groomed flow sections. With thrilling curves, natural obstacles and adrenalin-pumping jumps, every descent is a heart-pumping experience.
At the heart of all this is the Fassa Bike District, a jewel located between Col Rodella and Belvedere, easily accessible thanks to the lifts of Campitello, Canazei and Alba. Here, at an altitude of 2,500 metres, the adventure begins!
Trails for all tastes: choose your level of challenge
For those looking for an experience suitable for all levels, the trails of the Fassa Bike District offer adrenaline and nature in perfect harmony. Are you a beginner or do you simply prefer a gentle descent? The Rabbe Trail is the perfect option. This easy trail runs through a larch forest on a gentle slope, allowing you to enjoy nature without rushing. The descent takes about 5 minutes, with a length of 0.6 km and a minimum altitude difference of 30 metres.
If you want something similar but with a bit more fun, you can't miss The Col. Starting from Passo Pordoi, this 1.2 km track with a 100 metre difference in altitude gives you a smooth and pleasant descent, enhanced by well-designed curves.
If you already have some experience and are ready to push yourself further, there are several medium-level routes that will get your heart racing. Icarus, for example, is a trail that gently glides from the top of the Rodella to the saddle below, 1.3 km long, with wraparound curves in modern flow style that only take five minutes to descend.
If you are fascinated by the idea of a mix of flow and wilderness, Rode Line is the trail for you. With its 3.7 km and an altitude difference of 530 metres, it offers a combination of flowing and more challenging sections, for a descent of about 25 minutes that will leave you breathless.
Double-U and Zacan are two flow courses at Belvedere, 2.9 km and 1.5 km respectively, offering jumps, parabolic curves and sections of pure fun, perfect for dancing on your bike.
And if you're looking for an epic descent, you can't miss Infinity. This 5.3 km long track, which connects Pordoi to Canazei, combines flow-style sections with sections on a ski slope, for a descent that lasts around 25 minutes and leaves you breathless.
Are you ready to put yourself to the test?
For the real experts and adrenaline junkies, there are trails that require advanced skills.
Electric Line, with a length of 1.5 km and an altitude difference of 312 metres, is an old-school style track that runs through dense forest, testing your technique on north shore sections. An equally challenging alternative is the 9.90, a 1.1-kilometre course with an altitude difference of 476 metres, which will give you a fast and intense descent, perfect for those seeking the thrill of speed.
Finally, if you want a complete adventure, the Bike District Tour offers a unique experience for gravity pros. With an itinerary of 38.2 km and a duration of about 6 hours, this tour takes you through 11 trails of the Fassa Bike District, a journey into the heart of the Fassa Valley enduro that you will not easily forget.
